Even a child can figure out how utterly unfair, unloving and absurd eternal torture is. Yet, we beat it into them twisting logic around to the breaking point telling them that the G-d who sends us to Hell really loves and really doesn't want to do it. Trying to make this mental construct work nearly cost me my sanity. I just knew so many people I loved and respected couldn't be wrong. But, why couldn't I see what they saw? It's so freeing to let go of trying to make this logic work. It just doesn't. Peace, Brian Y’know what’s amazing. I'm surprised he wanted to stay a priest, but tradition dies hard. Saying that, I would'nt mind having a priest like that! For me, it is so easy to see that God is not the way He has been portrayed to me. I don't know why others don't see, but each in his own time I suppose. I thank you for being an encouragement to me, it is a lonely walk for sure. May you and yours be blessed...
